Sunday Morning Cafe has quickly become my go-to spot in Mesquite! Lately, every visit has been a hit—especially the fish baskets, which are always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The customer service is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Even when there’s a bit of a wait, it’s always worth it. Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Mesquite!

Had the fish with sides of fried okra, it was just right, not over cooked, I like my fish crunchy so it was very good. Very quiet spot to relax at and have conversations. I only speak for my experience when I was there at Sunday Morning. To each own experiences, but for me it was peaceful.

My catfish salad was delish. I ordered a mix juice Koolaid. One or both helped clear everything out witnin minutes off eating. It's pricey...but, in today's times what isn't?

Oh muh God! I love finding places like these. Most places fry their food and leave it sittings under heat lamps getting soggy. NOT THIS PLACE Food came out hot and crispy Can't recommend this place enough. Nuggets a la catfish are my suggestion. Every bite was a small piece of heaven. Staff was nice and friendly and attentive to boot. Can't eat in? Take some home and enjoy

The customer service was as amazing as the food. I found this gem searching for fried catfish but that all went out the window when we walked in and saw the 2nd Sunday menu. It has a very nice set up inside and the sweet potatoes were perfect! We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in town.

Food was crazy amazing and fresh. Food was not prepared in old grease like some places will give you. Food was delicious too and cooked all the way through.

I would consider this to be a “Hole In the Wall” “Diamond in the Rough” place. The food is delicious! I want to know what the tartar sauce is made up of. Very unique!

I am thoroughly enjoying this venue. My catfish box was too full to close properly and the blueberry kool aid pickle is a must-try. I appreciate this establishment. OMG. You got to try this place.
